| Jason Bershatsky's 13 years on the mats at Mercersburg have seen him help develop numerous young wrestlers and assist in refining the skills of experienced grapplers. He is also charged with the logistics and operations for the team each season. The native of Connecticut has an extensive background both playing and coaching a variety of sports. Bershatsky's high school athletic career included varsity wrestling, soccer, and rugby. He moved on to Bucknell University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in math and was the captain of the rugby team. He stays active in athletics today by competing for the Chambersburg Turtleheads rugby squad. Bershatsky came to Mercersburg after two years at West Nottingham Academy, where he was the head coach of both the boys' soccer and wrestling teams. The young coach produced West Nottingham's first state placewinner in wrestling, at the Maryland Independent Schools state tournament. The popular mathematics teacher is also the head coach of the varsity girls soccer team he is a dorm faculty member of Fowle Hall dormitory. He resides close to campus with his wife Angie, children Arielle and Kyler. |

| The youngest member of the Storm coaching staff brings an enthusiasm borne out of his experience at The Lawrenceville School, where he discovered the sport of wrestling and fell in love with it. Prior to coming to Mercersburg, Marshall Carroll spent time in the corporate world and coaching at the Pingry School in New Jersey. At Pingry, Carroll was an assistant coach for both the varsity and middle school wrestling teams, while also helping guide the varsity water polo team. The New Jersey native started wrestling at Lawrenceville as a ninth grader. "I think that my experience, starting late and learning one of high school's toughest sports in high school, has helped me so much as I teach young, inexperienced guys the basics of the sport," comments Carroll. Carroll is Mercersburg's Director of Library Services. A graduate of Rutgers University, where he was a member of two honor societies, Carroll has also worked as a content creation specialist, maintaining news pages on factiva.com for Dow Jones and Reuters. He lives in Keil Hall. |

| Nate Fochtman'03 returned to the familiar confines of Kuhn Wrestling Center last year to assist fellow alumnus Nate Jacklin's staff. Fochtman is one of the most successful wrestlers in recent Mercersburg history. He was a three time Pennsylvania Independent Schools state placewinner, won over 100 career matches, and captained the 2003 team. Fochtman is the Assistant Director of Annual Giving in Mercersburg's Alumni and Development office. He and his wife Gina, who is an elementary school teacher, reside close to campus. |

| Former head coach Rick Hendrickson returns to the mats this season as a part time assistant with the program that he revitalized 17 years ago. Hendrickson's appointment as Director of Athletics at Mercersburg two seasons ago brought a transition to the Storm wrestling program, one that resulted in his former athlete, Nate Jacklin, taking the reigns of one of Mercersburg's successful athletic teams. One of the most successful coaches in school history, the veteran mentor guided the Storm wrestling program for 15 years, coaching 28 Prep All-Americans and 12 PAIS state champions while leading the program to six conference team titles and several top postseason finishes. The West Virginia native established school records in coaching victories and winning percentage at Mercersburg en route to more than 300 career victories. A three-year starter in wrestling for Hall of Fame coach Vince Monseau at West Liberty State College, Hendrickson also coached football for a number of years and has worked with several sports as a fitness/conditioning coach. In 2008, he was honored by his coaching peers at the National Prep Wrestling Tournament with the Neil Buckley Outstanding Service Award. Coach Hendrickson resides close to Mercersburg's campus with his wife Amy and their three children. Jennifer'03 is a graduate of Penn State University, while Rachael'06 attends Penn State. Nine-year-old Gabriel attends third grade, spending much of his free time in the gymnasium. |
